LAGRANGE, Ga — Police tell News 3 they are not ruling out the possibility an armed robbery at a home on Saynor Circle may have been related to Saturday’s murder on Edgewood Avenue.
A police report says officers responded just before midnight Friday to a home in the 100 block of Saynor Cicle. Officers say when they arrived a man and woman in the home reported they had been robbed at gunpoint by several men in masks, dressed in black.
Police found during their investigation two cars were stolen from the home – a dark color 2016 Nissan Maxima that displayed Mississippi tag HFJ617 and a red 2011 Ford Focus displaying Georgia tag BTA7042.
When asked if the case was related to a 32-year-old man found murdered just after the robbery, a police representative said the department has not ruled anything out and will investigate all possibilities.
