2 arrested in connection with dumped body at MARTA station

ATLANTA, Ga (AP) — Two brothers have been arrested in connection with a body dumped at a MARTA station.

MARTA police spokeswoman Alisa Jackson tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Tuesday that Orlando Gibson and Xavier Gibson were arrested Nov. 10 after the body of Christopher Dean was found in the trunk of a car parked at the H.E. Holmes station. Police say Dean was likely killed elsewhere and left in his abandoned car in a free parking lot.

The Gibson brothers face charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They are being held without bond in the Fulton County jail. It was not immediately known if either man has an attorney who could speak on his behalf.

They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
