COLUMBUS, Ga- One organization that’s always giving to local veterans and their families is the Warrior Outreach. They have a toy drive underway to make the holidays extra special for some military children.
Now through December 5, Warrior Outreach is collecting toys for military children at several locations.
You’d be surprised how needed and appreciated these donations truly are because they help military parents stretch their holiday budgets.
“It’s nice to see the kids get a couple of extra presents under the tree for the holidays and see their little faces filled with excitement and help the parents save a little extra money this holiday season,” says Christina Maziol, a volunteer at Warrior Outreach.
If you’d like to donate to Warrior Outreach toy drive, the following locations are designated drop off spots.
In Columbus, there’s Jarrod’s Pest Control and Omni Financial.
In Harris County, you may drop off at The Store on Highway 219 or at the Warrior Outreach Ranch.
Remember, the drive runs through December 5.
