COLUMBUS, Ga.- More than 100 hungry and homeless families were able to get into the holiday spirit, thanks to one local Fraternity.

Matthew Bonham says every person matters in the community, including the homeless.

Bonham serves as the District Deputy Grand Master of the 4th Masonic District of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia.

The fraternity hosted the 7th annual “feeding 100” event at the Salvation Army.

Johnny Williams, the Worshipful Master of Mt. Pisgah Lodge #53, said when the event first started, the group was feeding less than 50 people.

Not only did the fraternity offer free food, but they’re also gave free haircuts to those in need.
