CANTON, Ga. (AP) – Cherokee County authorities have found the body of a 58-year-old Woodstock woman who had been reported missing.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Lt. Jay Baker says deputies found the body of Karen Twilley outside a house on Wednesday. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Baker described Twilley’s death as “suspicious.”

Baker says Twilley lived in the home with her 86-year-old mother, who is not a suspect in her daughter’s death.

The mother’s blue 2001 Ford Focus station wagon, with Georgia tag number ATC8621, is missing from the residence. Anyone who sees the car is asked to call 911.
