COLUMBUS, Ga. — The Muscogee County Sheriff’s office announces four people were arrested in connection to a drug bust on Bernard Street.
Sheriff John Darr says in a press conference investigators took weeks collecting evidence before raiding two apartments on November 10th.
Darr says deputies found and seized evidence worth about $4400, including:
- 8 firearms
- $2400 cash
- 156.6 grams of marijuana
- 26 grams of cocaine
- 14 Xanax pills
- 7 ecstasy pills
Darr says he believes the firearms may have been stolen.
He confirms four people were arrested at the scene – Antonio Sauls, Atoya Williams, Christopher Woolfolk, and Salita Byrd.
Darr says Woolfolk is a convicted felon and was the main target of the investigation. He says the investigation began after neighbors made various complaints about drug related items coming in and out of the apartments.
