WASHINGTON (NEWS10) – Many users are taking to social media to express their feelings and thoughts on the results of the 2016 Presidential election.

The hashtag #NotMyPresident is currently trending on Twitter. Many users are taking to the social network to express their frustrations with the election outcome.

Trump supporters are also expressing their views on the election under the hashtag.

According to Keyhole, the hashtag has a reach more than 1.3 million and more than 1.7 million impressions.

Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in Tuesday’s election with 279 electoral votes to Clinton’s 228. On Wednesday, during a press conference in the Rose Garden, President Barack Obama says he’s instructing his team to make sure there is a peaceful transfer of power to Donald Trump.
