AUBURN, Ala.- On Friday Auburn University students, faculty, and the community came together for the 28th annual Pumpkin Carve.
Dozens of people gathered in Dudley Hall to carve pumpkins and eat grilled food.
Some students spent hours gutting and designing the pumpkins.
Auburn students from the architecture design and construction hosted the annual event.
The pumpkins will be judged on their intricate designs, themes, creativity, appearance and craftsmanship.
Carving will end at 6 p.m. and the auction will begin at 8 o’clock.
The pumpkins carved will be illuminating the courtyard.
The winners of the carving contest will have their pumpkins auctioned off.
All proceeds will benefit the American Institute of Architecture students.
