COLUMBUS, Ga — A man suspected of a deadly weekend stabbing on Schaul Street appears before a judge Friday morning.
Court records say 53-year-old Curtis Porter Jr. is charged with the murder of 39-year-old Antonio Giddens.
As WRBL reported, Giddens was found dead at 2330 Schaul St. around 3 a.m. Saturday. The coroner’s office says he appears to have stabbed around 10 times with a weapon similar to an ice pick.
Police have not yet released a motive for the stabbing.
Porter will be in court at 9 a.m.
