COLUMBUS, Ga — A man is in Muscogee County Jail Friday connected to a shooting that left a man seriously injured back in May.
A police report says 24-year-old Codi Ross was arrested Wednesday at 6 p.m. Ross faces charges connected to an assault at 3911 Steam Mill Road where police believe he fired a gun through a door into the home twice.
Police say one of the shots hit a man in the back of the neck, causing serious injuries.
Ross’ charges include:
- Aggravated Assault with a Gun
- Possession of a Firearm During Commission/Attempted Commission of a Crime
The report says Ross will appear in court Saturday at 8 a.m.
