COLUMBUS, Ga. — Columbus Police say they are on the hunt for an armed and dangerous suspect after a local man was found stabbed to death.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan tells News 3 Antonio Giddens was stabbed with an ice pick — or a similar tool — around ten times shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday morning. EMS took Giddens, 39, from a home on Schaul St. to Midtown Medical Center, where he died around 5 a.m.
The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are currently unclear. However, Columbus Police say they are searching for Curtis Porter in connection with the incident. A warrant is out for Porter’s arrest in the murder.
The suspect is described as standing about 5’7″ and weighing around 190 lbs. Porter was last seen in a 1999 tan Toyota Camry with the Alabama tag: 2975AP4.
