Ga. – By the time Tuesday’s voter registration deadline passed, Georgia’s online voter registration saw record numbers. Secretary of State Brian Kemp says more than 74,000 Georgians used the state’s online voter registration system to register or update voter information.
November’s general election will be Hezekiah Rodgers’ first time voting.
“If you don’t vote then you can’t really complain about who gets elected, but you don’t get yourself represented as far as who governs you goes,” Rodgers said.
Tuesday was the final day for voters to register in Georgia in order to be eligible for the November 8th election. Early voting begins Monday, October 17th.
