COLUMBUS, Ga.- Thousands of school supplies are set to be given away in the Valley to kids in need.
The local chapter of the United Way and also local Publix stores teamed up to put on the Stuff the Bus effort.
Over the course of three weeks- local Publix stores, partners of the local chapter of United Way gathered close to 50 thousand dollars worth of school supplies.
News 3’s Ashley Garrett caught up Scott Ferguson, the President of the United Way and Store Manager of the Publix on Bradley Park Crossing in Columbus.
