LOCAL FORECAST: Clouds will be increasing on and off throughout the day Friday as the outer most bands stream across the entire region. We will remain dry with breezy and gusty conditions. Readings will remain in the lower 80s for highs and upper 60s, with more humid air lifting ahead of Hurricane Matthew and a strong cold front drifting east.
TROPICAL FORECAST: The coastal areas from central Florida and Tropical storm force winds inland will be the main focus and concern how Matthew will behave over the next several days. Once the cold front intersects Saturday late night Matthew will be swept eastward out in the Atlantic and do a complete circle back towards the Bahama Islands as a tropical storm. It’ll meet the upper level winds from the same front that placed Matthew there. Tropical Storm Nicole will still be spinning and churning in the Atlantic and will also get swept away finally from another trough sweeping-in from the west ahead of post tropical cyclone Matthew at this time Wednesday of next week.
