Whether you’re looking for something downtown or on the water, we have it in this weekend’s outdoor events.
The Tuskegee vs. Morehouse Parade is Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. edt in Uptown Columbus.
Covering over three times more miles than the parade is the Columbus Day Relay. Teams of four run three to five miles each, four times, on a 60-mile loop around the outskirts of Columbus.
Your pets can also get some exercise and have fun at Puppypalooza Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. cdt at Kiesel Park in Auburn.
If you’re ready for fall festivities, the Harvest Hoedown is Saturday and Sunday in Warm Springs.
And this weekend’s highlighted even is the last Sunset Paddle of the year!
Beginners and pros are welcome to come out to Lake Oliver from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday night for a quick kayak lesson and 3-mile paddle.
The cost for the paddle is $25 and includes the lesson and kayak equipment.
More information on the Sunset Paddle can be found here or call Outside World Columbus at 706-265-4500.
