Police looking for identification of 2 suspected of stealing car


COLUMBUS, Ga. – Columbus Police are looking for the identity of two individuals suspected in stealing a 2013 Nissan Rogue from the Headquarter Nissan Dealership located in the 1700 block of Whittlesey Road.

The theft occurred September 6 between 11:10 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.

Police say around 11:10 p.m., a gold mid 90’s Ford Ranger extended cab with a chrome toolbox pulls up to the business and two men exit the vehicle (one wearing a blue shirt and khaki shorts with a shaved head and the second wearing a blue shirt and blue jean shorts with dark-colored hair).

Between 11:10 PM and 11:40 PM, the suspects walk the entire car lot and check several vehicles. At 11:40 PM, the man with the shaved head enters the Nissan Rogue and leaves the car lot by driving over a curb.
