DULUTH, Ga.- A CBS Network show is being filmed right here in Georgia and they’re looking to hire most of their staff locally.

The hit 80’s show MacGyver is coming back and this time producers hope it will be bigger and better.
Casting for the show isn’t an easy process because hundreds of people are applying and auditioning.
Mark Fincannon the Regional Casting Director says they prefer hire local talent because it saves money and has a significant impact on the local economy.
Lucas Till who plays the main character, Angus “Mac” MacGyver is from Atlanta.
Till says he’s happy that he can have a positive impact on the local economy.
He also says he’s excited that he doesn’t have to go far from his home, during the busy months of production.
MacGyver premiers on CBS on Friday September 23 at 8 P.M. EST.
