CSU ranks among top 50 regional universities in South

COLUMBUS, Ga. – U.S. News & World Report ranks Columbus State University as one of the top 50 best public regional universities in the South.  The U.S. News & World Reports 2017 Best Colleges rankings came out this week.

The rankings help students compare the academic quality of more than 1,800 U.S. based schools.  CSU ranked 46th among the top public schools in the Regional Universities South category.  CSU ranked 62nd in Best Online MBA programs and 105 among all universities throughout the South.

James Stewart is a freshman studying music education at CSU.

“I am not surprised at all because they are a well maintained school and their education is really good here and I’ve learned a lot in my first month of school,” Stewart said.

U.S. News & World Reports looks at academic excellence, graduation rates, and class size.
