COLUMBUS, Ga — The Columbus Airport announces both runways will shutdown starting Monday for maintenance.
A press release by the airport says runway 6/24 will be closed starting at 6:30 a.m. Monday and will last until about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The closure will be to seal pavement on the runway.
It also says runway 13/31 will be closed for about four months to fully rehabilitate the runway.
Customers with Delta flights coming in Monday or Tuesday should contact the airline for rescheduling.
