ATLANTA, Ga — Tom Holland swung into an Atlanta area children’s hospital in his Spidey suit Thursday afternoon, much to the delight of the young patients.
The actor posted a photo on Instagram smiling in costume at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Hospital at Egleston. Holland is in Georgia shooting the upcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming” movie.
He debuted as the latest rendition of the web-slinger earlier this year in “Captain America: Civil War.”
Holland says meeting the children at the hospital was “such a wonderful experience, and you’re all such little inspirations.”
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is scheduled to debut July 7, 2017. The film also stars Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei and Zendaya.
A spokesman for Sony declined to respond to a Thursday report that Zendaya will be portraying Peter Parker’s love interest, Mary Jane Watson, in the “Spider-Man” reboot. Her role has not been announced.
