The question still remains for the Auburn Tigers…. Who will be the starting QB? Their season opens up on September 3rd against Clemson and coach isn’t showing any signs of who will be taking the starting position.
But we’ll have another opportunity to get a look at the three QB’s in the running for the number one spot on Saturday.
Which will be just more tape for for head coach Gus Malzahn and his staff to evaluate the Tigers. Offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee has been quiet about who might be winning the quarterback battle between Sean White, Jeremy Johnson and Jon Franklin II, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing…
“Well maybe it’s because those guys are doing a good job of not making it easy. You know, it doesn’t have to be something negative all the time. Again, you know, when you break camp and go to school, I think next Tuesday. It’d be great to have things narrowed down to make that decision. But again, we’re not going to hurry up and make a the wrong decision just to say we have made it. If we’re not making a decision, it’s because we’ve got multiple guys that are doing a good job,” says Lashlee.
