Teen arrest after being captured on video surveillance in Auburn burglary

AUBURN, Ala. – An Auburn teen has been arrested after burglarizing a business back in July.

18-year-old Eric Nelms, Jr was arrested on felony warrants charging him with Burglary Third Degree and two counts of Theft of Property First Degree.

Nelms was developed as the suspect after he was captured on video surveillance at a business in the 1600 block of South College Street.

Police say the theft occurred July 25th and Nelms allegedly stole property and an undetermined amount of cash.

Nelms was transported to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $13,000 bond.
