ROSWELL, GA — Friends and family gather Friday to remember a teenage girl who was one of the two killed behind an Atlanta suburb Publix.
The service for 17-year-old Natalie Henderson will be at Roswell Presbyterian Church Friday afternoon. Police say both Henderson and 17-year-old Carter Davis were found by a Publix delivery driver Monday with bullet wounds in their heads.
Henderson’s family says she would have been a senior at Roswell High School this Fall. She was also a member of the color guard.
Davis was a student at River Ridge High School in Cherokee County where he played lacrosse. His memorial was held Thursday evening among family and friends.
Police say 20-year-old Jeffrey Hazlewood is charged with murder in the case.
He is in the Roswell city jail, but police say he will be moved to Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail Friday afternoon.
