COLUMBUS, Ga — Columbus police say a woman who has been missing since July 21 was found safe by a person who recognized her from her missing photos.
Sargent Andrew Chesser says in a press release Tammy Shaw (Baker) was recognized by a community member near Macon Road and Woodruff Farm Road. The witness says they heard of her disappearance and called police thinking she needed help.
Police say they found Shaw safe and returned her home. They say she is now in good condition.
