Cruz announces Vice Presidential candidate

Ted Cruz announces Wednesday that if he is elected, he will run alongside Carly Fiorina as his Vice President.

Cruz is trying to stay relevant after Donald Trump seized momentum in the 2016 race with a sweep of all five East Coast states on Tuesday. Trump is now that much closer to having enough delegates to win the Republican nomination.

Social media users are responding with mixed feelings, some still opposing the inner turmoil within the Republican Party. Just this week, Ted Cruz and John Kasich announced their plans to join forces to block Trump from the GOP nomination.

A New York man is nursing a black eye after a man punched him in the street and screamed “This is because you look like Shia LeBeouf!” 26-year-old Mario Licato says he was entering a subway entrance when a man in his 20s punched him in the face.

Licato says he has never seen the man before. New York police say they are investigating the incident as an assault and no arrests have been made yet.
