(WTNH) – John Boehner really doesn’t like Ted Cruz.

According to The Stanford Daily, the former House speaker did an interview at Stanford University on Wednesday and discussed the 2016 election.

When Boehner was asked about GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz, Boehner had no trouble holding back how he really felt.

“Lucifer in the flesh,” Boehner said. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”

According to The Huffington Post, this is not the first time Boehner has called Cruz “Lucifer” in public. He also has called Cruz a “jackass.”

Boehner referred to Ohio Gov. John Kasich as a “friend,” and said he would vote for Donald Trump, but he would not vote for Cruz if he were the nominee.

At the end of the interview, Boehner discussed his political heroes, “Well you know I’m a big fan of Ronald Reagan,” he said. “But I love all these knuckleheads talking about the party of Reagan. He would be the most moderate Republican elected today.”
