Columbus fire crews save 1 adult, 2 children and family dog from house fire

8:25 AM — Columbus fire crews say the house fire has been put out. No injuries to report at this time

COLUMBUS, Ga — News 3 is live on the scene of a house fire at 917 North Ridge Drive.

Fire officials tell reporter Brennan Reh they responded to a call at 7:06 AM Thursday. They say there are no injuries.

Officials say one adult and two children were rescued from heavy smoke and flames. Rescue crews say a dog was also found trapped under a layer of Sheetrock that had fallen from the wall.
