Auburn Cityfest set to draw thousands of people this weekend

AUBURN, Ala.- This Saturday at Keisel Park, the city will hold their 16th annual Cityfest.

Cityfest is the largest arts and crafts festival in the city. This Saturday, 90 arts and craft vendors are slated to be at the event.

There will also be food vendors and entertainment. Along with a performance from the ZuZu African Acrobats.

Co-coordinator for Cityfest, Ann Bergman says the support the event receives from businesses and the community shows the commitment to making Auburn one of the fastest growing cities in the country. “You have a lot of arts and craft vendors coming from out of town,” Bergman said. “You’ll have more than 90 people staying in Auburn Friday and Saturday night. Set up is Friday. It’s a great way to raise awareness for our parks; Keisel Park.”>

The event is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m; rain or shine. Pets are welcomed as long as they are on a leash.
