STEWART COUNTY, Ga. – She has dedicated some 30 years of her life to the children of Stewart County High School.
We are talking about 9th grade Literature and History teacher Annette Johnston, who was surprised with the Kinetic Golden Apple Award this week by News 3’s Carlos Williams.
Ms. Johnston, who holds a Masters Degree in both Education and Theology, will retire after this school year. She was nominated by a former student who told us about the positive impact Ms. Johnston made in his life and the lives of many others.
Johnston says she’ll spend more time in the ministry when she retires and will always remember receiving the Golden Apple Award.
