2 arrested, charged with meth trafficking

COLUMBUS, Ga — The Metro Narcotics Task Force says they have found drugs worth nearly $200 thousand after a two month long investigation.

A member of the task force says the investigation began in Opelika back in February and agents tracked two kilograms of meth across Russell County, Columbus and Harris County.

Lt. Debra Bohannon says 34-year-old Storm Cooper and 26-year-old Eric Gutliph were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
