Man spreads love for flying in community

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Many of us had our eyes peeled on the sky for this weekend’s Thunder in the Valley Air Show.

News 3 talked to one man who is spreading his love for flying with young people.  Gary Brossett works with the Experimental Aviation Association.  He was raised in an Air Force family and followed in the footsteps of his father who retired from the Air Force.

Brossett is using his passion for flying and planes to inspire children in our community.

“We introduce kids to aviation because we never know how many like Rob Holland, today’s three-time free style world champion, you never know how many kids may have followed in his footsteps if they’re never introduced to aviation,” Brossett said.

Brossett says he is just like any other enthusiast.  He is excited to share his knowledge of planes and love of aviation with children.
