COLUMBUS, Ga. – An arrest has been made in the Wells Fargo Bank robbery.
25-year-old Christopher Belt was arrested Tuesday after Columbus Police and the FBI executed a search warrant at a home on Eddy Drive. Belt is being held in the Muscogee County Jail on unknown charges.
Police say back on March 18, Belt walked into the Wells Fargo on Milgen Road with a pistol and robbed one of the tellers at gunpoint.
He got away with an unknown amount of money in a gold Ford Fusion. No one was hurt.
