DENVER (KXRM) — A portion of Denver International Airport was evacuated Tuesday afternoon due to a possible security threat.
Denver police began evacuating the area around 2:30 p.m. The evacuation area includes levels 5 and 6 of the west side of the main terminal between doors 600 and 610. Affected ticket counters include American, Aero Mexico, Air Canada, Lufthansa, and British Airways.
No vehicle traffic is being allowed on the west side of the terminal.
The east side of the terminal remains open. Airport officials said flight delays are possible.
