TROUP COUNTY, Ga.- Students are taking a lesson in eating. It’s part of “Chefs 2 Schools,” a program where chefs from Chartwells interact with the students about nutrition.
Hollis Hand Elementary is just one school partaking in the program. During Chartwells’ visit there, the students enjoyed bok choy stir fry.
“We’re here to just educate and enlighten them on all the different ways that they can enjoy all the different foods,” says Chartwells Chef Trainer Marion Dansby.
Students are not only introduced to new food, but also healthy choices, such as fruits and vegetables.
