Funeral services held today for triple homicide victims

COLUMBUS, Ga. – A follow up to last week’s triple homicide. Funeral services were held this morning for Gloria and Caleb Short, and Gianna Lindsey.

All three were found dead at their home in Upatoi. Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says they died from blunt force trauma.

The funerals were held at Cascade Hills Church in Columbus at 11 a.m. Monday.

Burials were at Green Acres Cemetery afterwards.

Gloria’s brother also passed away of a heart attack Wednesday, January 6 after hearing the news.

Gloria was active in her community and participated in breast cancer walks and was a board member of the soul of my footprints. Caleb was a junior at Shaw High School and liked working out with his dad and was a devout Georgia Bulldogs fan. Gianna was a girl scout and just placed second in her school grade spelling bee at Ridgecrest Elementary.

Currently there are no suspects in the case and the family has announced a $5,000 reward for any information into this case.
