Mahogany Watson, Nasir’s Mother, said he is still too scared to go back to school.  She said this accident has completely turned her whole family’s life upside down.

Watson is trying to figure out a campaign to bring awareness to parents about the dangers of certain tables in lunchrooms at in lunch rooms at schools.

“What parent in their right mind would believe, I sent my child to school with 10 whole fingers and he comes back missing one.  And what parent would think that a lunchroom table could be the cause,” Watson said.

Nasir has been receiving treatment in Atlanta, but has had to miss his last four appointments.  Watson does not have a functioning car and her insurance company has not been providing her with transportation to Atlanta.
