A rash of car break-ins across Troup County

TROUP COUNTY, Ga. – Troup County deputies received several reports of auto thefts and break-ins they believe happened overnight.

The sheriff’s office says in many of the incidents, the victims may have left their vehicles unlocked with valuable items in plain sight.

Authorities say even if your car is parked in your driveway, lock it and secure or remove valuables from inside your car.
