COLUMBUS, Ga. – Members of the Columbus community were recognized today for their contributions to a local hospital.
West Central Georgia Regional Hospital collected gifts for patients during the Mayors’ Christmas Motorcade.
The hospital’s administrator says these gifts make a big difference in the lives of their patients
“They would not have Christmas if it were not for these donations. Approximately 2/3rds of them would not have Christmas, and the other third would have a very minimal amount of Christmas gifts that do have families that support them.”
This is the 56th year cities across Georgia have participated in the Mayors’ Christmas Motorcade.
