President Obama’s prime time public address concerning terrorism last night caught a lot of attention. But his speech also caught much criticism as well.
Alabama Governor Robert Bentley released a statement shortly after the president’s speech, saying:
I was disappointed in the president’s lack of strategy, vision or resolve to strike, stop and stymie the evil forces that are bent on destroying our great nation.”
The governor added that he became increasingly frustrated with the Obama administration’s apparent resistance to solve or address pressing issues like the vetting and processing of Syrian refugees who are looking to enter into the country.
U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) also asks for a clearer message from the Commander-in-Chief: “As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I have been calling for a clear strategy from the President to defeat ISIS and we still don’t have one.
