If you’re more of a walker or biker, the Team Asia 3K walk and motorcycle ride honors Asia Hoskins, who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a hit-and-run accident. It starts Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. EST at 11th and Bay Street in Uptown Columbus.

From walking to water – Kayak the Hooch is an 8-mile guided tour down the Chattahoochee River that ends up at Oxbow Meadows Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. EST. You can register with Outside World Outfitters in Uptown Columbus.

Out of the water, you help the homeless by donating clothes and shoes to the homeless street store from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST Saturday on the 1100 block of Broadway in Uptown Columbus.

Joanne Cogle is the owner and race director at TriColumbusGA.

“This is one of our races that is very limited to athletic ability. It’s more about teamwork and team bonding and working together,” says Cogle.

The race starts at 9:00 a.m. Saturday and lasts until 1:00 p.m. EST.
