COLUMBUS, Ga. – Local college students can now access information about their classes on the go from their smart phone. Columbus State University launched its new mobile app this week.
The app’s main focus is to provide students with better access to online courses. Amy Thornton with CSU’s Online Learning Center said the app is not just for online classes. It allows students to access the Learning Management System.
“The Learning Management System is a system where all of our courses can house their electronic content so it’s for fully online courses, but then face-to-face courses can also use it as a supplement,” Thornton said.
The app also features bus schedules, campus news, library links and more. It is available on Apple and Android devices, but not yet on Windows mobile devices.
