Halloween Weekend Events: October 30th – November 1st

Halloween is tomorrow, and you’re in for a treat cause there are plenty of  great outdoor weekend events to celebrate the spooky holiday!

This weekend’s highlighted event is Spooktacular 2015. Families and kids can come out to Woodruff Park in Uptown Columbus, Georgia for free and safe Halloween fun and  festivities – including trick-or-treating and a costume contest!

Becca Zajac is the president of marketing and community relations at Uptown Columbus. She says, “As Uptown Columbus we’re always trying to find events that kind of reach out to all kinds of demographics and ages and things like that so Spooktacular is really our kid friendly event where we want to provide people in the community, Columbus and Phenix City and even down to Fort Benning an opportunity to come out in a safe environment.”

Spooktacular lasts from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. EDT on Halloween.
