FORT BENNING, Ga. – Fort Benning residents will observe Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 31, with “trick or treating” from 6 to 8 p.m.
Post residents are encouraged to limit “trick or treating” to the housing area where they live.
Children 13 years and younger are allowed to “trick or treat.”
“Trick or treaters” should observe all basic safety precautions to include wearing reflective, fire-resistant costumes that are short enough to prevent tripping, using makeup instead of masks that restrict vision, carrying a flashlight and using caution when crossing streets.
Pet owners should ensure their pets are confined to prevent them from being a nuisance.
