Phenix City teen appeared in court this morning for hit and run crash

Joshua Gorman was 16-years-old at the time of the accident.

PHENIX CITY, Ala. – A Phenix City teen may be remanded to juvenile court for manslaughter.

Josh Gorman, 17, was in court today. He’s accused of striking and killing 31 year old Nathan Wombles during a hit and run crash in April.

According to the District Attorney’s office, Gorman’s attorney requested Gorman be charged as a youthful offender, or juvenile.

We are told the judge will make that decision on November 10th.
