Army female rangers questioned by Republican lawmaker

UPDATE: The controversy surround women in ranger school. An Oklahoma congressman wants proof Army’s two female rangers earned their spot on the elite team.

According to People Magazine, Representative Steve Russell sent a letter to outgoing Army Secretary John McHugh, calling for the test scores and records for First Lieutenants Kristen Griest and Shaye Haver.

As News 3 reported the two became the first women to graduate from Fort Benning Ranger School. The Republican lawmaker has given McHugh until Friday to hand over the documents.
