LaGrange Police say no one has been charged in a shooting at Walmart that happened Saturday. Officers first arrived on the scene shortly before 9 a.m.
Police say several shots were fired behind the store, but no one was around at the time. News 3 spoke with an investigator, who says they are still reviewing the store’s surveillance video. Until they are done analyzing the footage, they will not release surveillance to News 3.
That video lead them to the 100 block of Glenda Drive, where they found a vehicle matching the one in the footage.
They also found a mentally ill man, Michael Fitzpatrick, who says he fired shots because he felt he was being chased. Police took Fitzpatrick to West Georgia Health.
The case is still under investigation.
