Columbus Police are investigating two armed robberies they say happened in the same block within 15 minutes.
Between 1:20 and 1:35 Saturday afternoon, authorities say two loan businesses were robbed: InstaLoan and TitleMax.
Both businesses are located in the 3500 block of Macon Road. In the InstaLoan robbery, police are looking for a black man in his mid-30’s. They say he stands at around six feet tall and weighs approximately 250 lbs. The suspect was last seen wearing a black captain cap, a black shirt, black cargo shorts and black glasses.
Investigators are still analyzing evidence in the hopes of naming a suspect in the TitleMax robbery.
Currently, police have not linked the two robberies together.
