Columbus man shot twice at Illges Rd. and Carver St.

According to CPD while you slept Sunday morning a shooting went down in Columbus.

A middle-aged Columbus man is recovering after being shot twice early Sunday morning.

Authorities say the shooting happened between 12:45 and 1 a.m. at the intersection of Illges Road and Carver Street.

Columbus Police say Andrew Walker took himself to Saint Francis Hospital. About an hour after he was shot, Walker, 43, contacted police. Walker sustained non-life threatening injuries to his left ankle and right knee in the shooting.

Police say they have not yet named a suspect in this ongoing investigation.
