Local salon to donate profits to Hernandez Wilson’s family for funeral costs.

The money from this appointment is part of what will be donated

COLUMBUS, Ga.- Kinections Hair Salon will be donating all of their profits and taking donations from Thursday and Friday to the family of Hernandez Wilson to cover his funeral costs.

News 3 reported that Wilson died when he lost his footing in the Chattahoochee River last Thursday.

Each worker at the salon knew Wilson in some way and they say he was a tremendous person and they didn’t have second thoughts about donating money to his family. Brittany Bell cited her upbringing as part of the reason for giving. “Growing up, I’ve always been taught to bless others and help others in a time of need,” Bell said. “It really makes me feel good doing something to help someone else and not just worrying about myself.”

Wilson’s family is expected to come to the salon Friday evening to pick up the money.
