Lee County investigators are trying to find the owner of a dog they say was found severely neglected and left for dead.
On Saturday, the Sheriff’s office says they discovered the dog in a wooded area off Lee Road 391 in Opelika.
They say he was tied to a utility pole and left without food, water, or shelter.
The dog is currently in very poor condition. If you have any information about it’s owner you’re asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s office at 334-749-5651.
